Hi all

I am due a week on Weds and a couple of times have felt like my sides from my bust to my hip are bruised / strained (mainly left side) now got bigger this feels more sore, not sure if this is due to LO dropping lower and added weight? anyone else had this, will mention this to mw tom x

Hi Kel! Nearly there - not long til you have your baby in your arms.

I reckon feeling like you're bruised and sore is just where your baby has gotton bigger and your tummy is stretched and achey. BUT, I'd mention it to your MW tomorrow as it never hurts to ask!

x

My family is complete...I am grateful every day

Hiya,

What did mw say?? I'm feeling really bruised too, under my bust. Especially when I touch my belly under there.

Hope all is ok.

Hi all

Mw said just usual stretching pains but it is easy to strain muscles esp when getting bigger. She said a lot of women complain about feeling bruised as they get closer to the birth. I have not really had it the last couple of days, just really achy back and hips now and find it difficult to get comfy to sleep! dont want to keep moaning as just was LO to be ok xx

Hiya,

Thats good to know. I know what you mean about moaning, but we've worked hard to get this far, we're entitled to a little moan every now and again, especially as we don't know whats happening.

Its scary to think that it means that LO will be coming soon!!!

Its horrible feeling like you've been kicked in the ribs when you have but from the inside!!!!!
