is it safe to take Cardamom in 2nd tri?

Hi,
i am around 20 week preg and like to have cardamon off and on the whole day for my nausea...(i still have nausea at 20 week) X(
just wanted to ask if its safe as i really dont want premature babies with low birth weight.... :8o:

Hi Pooky,
Like with most supplements and vitamins, it looks like the effects of cardamom on pregnancy have not been studied.
How do you take it? Do you know how much you take in an average day?
You might want to ask your midwife or GP about it.
Hope that nausea goes away soon!

i have it as small pod form at least 10-15 pods a day......
what do u think?

Hi Pooky, I can't help but we use a fair bit of cardomom in our cooking - it never occurred to me that there might be a problem.
