Hi ladies, I turned 40 in May and gave birth to twins 9 days later. They were the result of FET with frozen embryos from my second sons fresh cycle. I can honestly say I did nothing different with this cycle, I didn’t expect it to work for one baby let alone two. Good luck to all of you xx

I would go. It will be a lovely welcome distraction. Having been on the 2ww 9 times I can honestly say that whatever you choose to do in the wait has little difference on the outcome. Good luck x
Congratulations, now the wait for your scan starts and it can feel just as long as the 2ww. The scan is internal and they will check that everything is okay with your pregnancy and how many babies you are carrying. They will also check that the pregnancy is in the right place and will give you a due date. If you go to the BFP section there is a useful link in the BFP announcement area that tells you how to calculate how far along you are.
I drove after ET, straight back to work and got a BFP. Good Luck x
I personally would thaw all three, but that’s because I have always had a poor thaw rate with my embryos. If you did defrost two and then had just one would you want to do a frozen cycle with the risk a single one may not thaw? Good luck whatever you decide x

Just wanted to jump in and say that my friend recently gave birth to her only embryo (a beautiful girl). A really good piece of advice I was given when starting IVF was to consider the first round as the trial practice. The clinic will be learning so much about you, how you respond to medication, fertilisation rates etc. Hopefully this cycle will be all you need and your little embryo is snuggling in nicely but if things don't go as planned (or it does and you later go on to try for a sibling) t...

I'm so sorry to hear you had no fertilised eggs. I haven't been in your position but can imagine how devastating it must be. Have your clinic offered a follow up or counselling? I would seek these as soon as possible.. Hopefully your clinic will have learned a lot about you on this cycle and can tailor the next one accordingly. You said your partner has very low morphology so they may well want to discuss other options such as donor sperm. Good luck with the road ahead and take care.
