Success naturally after our first Child was through ICSI

Hi all, Baby Carlos was born on November 24th. All went well and he is now four months. Sorry with work I completely forgot to post the birth when it happened. this time was natural delivery as well. Brother and sister look very much alike if they were twins you would not be able to tell them apart. We are over the moon and would like to wish everyone all the best in their journey to conceive. We have been blessed and pray for the same miracle for everyone. regards kaborex

Success naturally after our first Child was through ICSI

Hi Anita, Never stop believing. If it is age you are concerned about, don't be. I am 40 and my wife is 34. I guess there is one thing I forgot to mention when someone asked what we did differently. One major factor I think, is that we just got on with life and never bothered about protection since we thought we would never be able to conceive naturally. We just threw caution to the wind and never worried about it. Our attitudes were, "if it happens, great, if it never does happen again at least ...

Success naturally after our first Child was through ICSI

We had been trying since 2000. I and dw were both heavy smokers then. We tried and tried and still nothing. Then when I was told I had low sperm count at around 2004, we both gave up smoking. the count increased slightly but not enough to conceive naturally. It resulted in icsi and thus our princess. From the first icsi session I was also taking zinc supplements. Although after my little girl was born I kind of gave up on it. The two things we have both given up on really is smoking and alcohol....

Hi Jasper, I remember your name from when I was posting at the time we had ICSI. That is brilliant news. Congratulations. It was funny as we had a student operator doing the scan and the more experienced one was advising her to scan well around to make sure there are no twins!!!. Kaborex

Thank you. Last time I was hoping for a little boy but we had our little princess instead and I would not change a thing about her. I hope it is a little boy this time but as long as our princess has some companion to grow up with (which is something I did not have being an only child) we would be grateful. Just for those who are desperately trying, please do not give up there is hope and if you believe things will happen. Kaborex

Success naturally after our first Child was through ICSI

Hi all, I am not sure where to post this, but hopefully one of the admins will move the post to the appropriate section. My wife and I went through ICSI for our first child and what an amazing, exciting, worrying journey that was. We now have a beautiful little girl who will be 2 in July. You can imagine our shock after we found out two weeks ago that DW was pregnant!! Things seem to have just happened naturally this time around. We went for a scan today and the pregnancy is 10 weeks +. The issu...

THIRD TRIMESTER CHAT - 2010

Sorry to keep you all waiting. She is finally here. Baby cleo was born on the 1st of July at 9:29pm as a result of a C section. Mum stopped dilating at 6cm and left the doctors with no other choice but to go down the C section route. Now here comes the praises: Well done obviously mum and baby, but heartfull priase goes to the NHS midwife and the 3rd year midwife student that were assigned to us. These two ladies started work at 8A.M in the morning of the first and they never left the room unti...

THIRD TRIMESTER CHAT - 2010

Hi 2mums, The little one is fine. She went quiet after about two hours of constant movement. Had us a bit worried though. Today everything is back to normal. It is awfully quiet in here isn't it. I do hope everyone is fine and just chilling out. Regards Kaborex

Bluesky all the best with the c section. Everything is going to be ok. Just think about holdeing your little one very soon and you will be alright. Jess I hope everything is fine on your side. Take it easy. Tonight little Cleo has been overly active. And I mean overly active to the point that we are getting slightly worried that she may be distressed. She has always been an active baby but this is mad. We may call a midwife if it carries on through the night. I recoreded a piece of guitar music ...

THIRD TRIMESTER CHAT - 2010

Hi all, I do hope everyone is fine. Well I thought I would jump to the third tri a few hours before we officially should. I have been lazy and not posted lately. We had a doctors appointment and was told that DW's bump was measuring a bit on the large side. ie 33inches at 28weeks. The doctor has made an appointment for a scan next week. Not sure why or what they are concerned about really, but the decision has been triggered by the size of the bump. Has anyone had this experience? I am delighted...
