Oliver is here!

Hi Everyone! I have finally found 5 minutes to let you know that baby Oliver arrived via elective c- section (as he was breech) on 17 Feb - his daddy's birthday!!! We are completely in love with him. He weighed 7,5lb and had apgar scores of 9 and 10. He is breastfeeding well; 2-3 hourly (so much fun at 3 am ). I always knew I loved him, but I don't think I realised how overwhelming it would feel... absolutely the best feeling in the world! Sorry for no personals, but I haven't had time to catch ...

Would botox in the face only, affect IVF - I'm on the cycle and EC is next weekend.

I agree with the above replies. I provide botox treatments and would never treat anyone who is TTC. It is a neurotoxin that is injected and there is no research (for obvious reasons) as to what the effects may be on the developing foetus or even the egg. Just wait a few months... It will be worth it!

I'm also struggling to keep up with everything happening on this thread! Exciting times! Lovely, good luck for tomorrow! I remember you from the June jellybeans... I think you were one of our first BFP's? And now you will be a mummy tomorrow! Geordie, it's good to hear that you're feeling better. I love your babies' names It sounds like they are doing well and will hopefully be home soon. Daezil, I hope you're enjoying the Gaviscon! Hi Everyone! Wow, it's been busy on here again! Geordie, Congratulations on the birth of your son and daughter! I hope you recover quickly and get to take them home soon! I hope everyone else is doing well... this waiting is soooooo frustrating! AFM, baby is still breech, but growing well, so I have been booked in for a c- section on 17 Feb, which is also my hubby's birthday!!!!! EEEEEEEEEK!!! (Unless the baby turns that is, which seems quite unlikely at this stage) It still doesn't feel real th...

Hi Girls! I haven't been online for a few days and I missed out on so much! Mrs.H., from what I read you have been more than careful about your decision about having a home birth . Don't let your dad's comments get to you, I'm sure he didn't mean to hurt your feelings.. men are just a little thick sometimes. He's probably just worried about you and jumped to conclusions before doing the necessary research. I'm sure it's all coming from the right place. Why don't you try to talk to him after you'...

Work and treatment - keeping it quiet!

Hi Elpi, I also didn't tell anyone at work about treatment when I was going through it. I booked off the day of EC saying that I have to have a medical (gynae) procedure under sedation (all true) and the next day, as I was not allowed to drive etc for 24 hours (also true). I did go back to work on the 2nd day after EC and it was hell! I was in a lot of pain (but I did have 29 eggs), but did manage to work the rest of the week. Could you warn your boss that you may have to take a few days off dep...
