Egg white cervical mucus

Hi. I too suffered with this problem. You could try a sperm friendly lubricant, the popular one seems to be Pre-Seed which i bought from amazon. However this did not work for me. Good luck

** FIRST TRIMESTER CHAT **

Hi Nicster Just wanted to pop in and say that i too had my babys heatbeat checked at my doctors at 15 weeks and i thought it was low at 112. I was later taken down to the early pregnancy dept due to bleeding later that day and the heatbeat was back up to 140. I mentioned the previous hb to the doctor at the hospital and they said that it was still classed as a acceptable level. So please try not to worry, i totally freaked as everyone was mentioning hb's of 140+ but i guess mine and your baby wa...

How long should we ttc naturally before a second try at ivf?

Hello It took me three years to conceive naturally with baby number 2 (now 30 weeks) and we was also diagnossed with unexplained finertility. I also tried clomid which didn't work although my 21 blood test results were very high. Every single month i beleived there was a chance and was utterly dissapointed every month, it consumed my life. The very month where it finally sunk in that it may not happen for us and i chilled out a bit and tried my hardest not to get carried away with dates and all ...

** SECOND TRIMESTER CHAT **

Hi all Haven't posted here for a bit. Glad to see everyone is getting on well. I am hoping to get some information on breastfeeding. I had a breast reduction in 1999 and was told i probably would not be able to breast feed so i didn't try with my first baby. But during this pregnancy my breasts have changed and now i'm hoping that BF is possible. My main concern is not knowing how much milk your baby is drinking. Obviously with a bottle you can cleary see how much the baby has drank. I hated hav...

** SECOND TRIMESTER CHAT **

Hi everyone Lots of chat with regard to sleeping positions. I always seem to wake on my back and then force myself to change onto my side. I'm much more comfy on my right than my left though even though i too havbe heard left is best. Shelley - congratulations on your scan, i can imagine it was a massive relief for you as in the nicest possible way you seemed to have worried quite a bit through your pregnancy, something that i can totally relate too. And a boy as well - lovely. I didn't find out...

** SECOND TRIMESTER CHAT **

Hi there Everyone seems to be happily plodding along at the moment With regards to spotty skin i still get this every 28 days or so just when i would of been getting my period. Well i'm beginning to be sure that we are having a boy. My bump is the same shape as last time and just gut instint i guess. I'm not going to be buying many baby clothes before hand partly due to not knowing the sex for sure and also i think we will probably be bought so much or will receive vouchers that we will be able ...

Hi Tishers I too have had small brown, red, pink discharge after being for number 2. Turns out i have cervial erosion and any straining that you may do on the toilet can set this off. Maybe this is the same for you? It has nothing to do with the baby and will not cause LO any harm. Or course all bleeding is scary and i still check the toilet paper every time i have been to the toilet. All the best Bug

** SECOND TRIMESTER CHAT **

Hi just thought i'd mention a book i have just finished reading. It's Minus 9 to 1: The diary of an honest mum by Jools Oliver and is quite a good read. it goes through her first two pregnancys and then till her eldest is about 2. She seems as paranoid as us at times during pregnancy as like us she was desperate to have children and suffered fertility problems. I got my copy from the library and finished it in a day. I especially found the breast feeding sections handy. Please let me know if any...

SECOND TRIMESTER CHAT - 2010

Hi guys My gp refused to give me the flu jab due to my history although i have no idea why. When i told the midwife at ante natal they were not impressed and urged quite strongly to get it done. I am now booked in for Jan 4th. Had my 20 week scan on 23rd and all is well. We resisted the urge to find out the sex and i'm really glad about that as i have been adament about not finding out from the start. It was very tempting though. I have to go back for a scan at 35 weeks to check on the position ...

SECOND TRIMESTER CHAT - 2010

Hi guys hope everyone is ok? Snowed a bit here today and have been stuck in the house after my neighbour advised me not to go out as he got stuck in his car. Funny as his car is not in the drive and has gone out again. I'm very bored. Hoping the snow doesn't last i have 3 hospital appointment next week on three different days. I hate going the hospital as it has taken me over an hour to get a space before, its manic up to 1pm. Next Thursday is scan day for us and we or rather i have decided not ...

SECOND TRIMESTER CHAT - 2010

Hello lovely ladies. Not posted for a long time on here so thought i'd best get typing. This time next week my husband, my son and me will be off work and school till 2011! Off to the panto today to see Cinderella, my husband is a school teacher and every year arranges a trip for some of the children and me and Alex (son) have been able to sneek in to. Although as Alex is now 7 he's not too impressed that it is Cinderella! As Lolashell said i too can't wait to spend Christmas with a bump, i was ...

18 weeks pregnant with 2nd child - no movement

Thank you for the replies. I just thought as its my 2nd i would of felt something by now. Perhaps as BG said the placenta is in a place where i am unable to feel the baby i will not find this out till my 20 week scan. I have been feeling little tiny nudges which could be the baby or wind like Hayley but deffinetly no flutters, maybe i'll miss this part out. I guess i'll just keep poking around!! Take care Bug

18 weeks pregnant with 2nd child - no movement

Hi guys I'm 18 weeks tomorrow and have had no movement what so ever not even a flutter. I'm sure i had the flutters by this stage with my first 7 years ago. I had a midwife appointment week 16 and the baby's heartbeat was fine and she could tell it was moving around, in fact she was suprised i couldn't feel it as the vibrations was so strong. She then went onto to say that i should be able to feel the baby move within the next week. I kind of wish wish she hadn't of said this as you can imagine ...

Monitoring of heartbeat

Hi Shelley I have had the antenatel clinic, my doctor and my midwife check the baby's heart all from 13 weeks. I would imagine if your consultant doesn't offer he may well check if you ask. I haven't had much dealings with a consultant so i could be completley wrong but its got to be worth asking. Good luck

SECOND TRIMESTER CHAT - 2010

Hi Lu I have lost 1/2 stone even though i have a belly and have been eating well with no sickness. Beleive me i am not showing off in any way as i can't quite understand it. I weighed myself at the doctors yesterday and was quite suprised as i certainly feel as if my weight has increased. Maybe they were dodgy scales??? Midwife didn't seem to concerned and said it was probably to do with the steroids i have been taking although i thought this would make me put on weight. I would expect 1/2 stone...
