Hope everything goes well tomorrow Bambie. And you're right- thank you for the advice. I shouldn't be so hasty, I will give myself time to think about it. I guess it's easier going back for more once you've had a huge break and some breathing space from it all. Can be very intense as you know and the last thing you want is a break when you're in the middle of it all and all you can think about is how desperately you want a wee toot. Feels like every wait for appointment/next cycle is agonising w...

Hi Beattie02 Yes I had this. Brown bleeding g from 6 until just before 17 weeks and 3 huge bleeds at 9,10amd 12 weeks- so much blood more than I've ever seen. I was at work (at the hospital) the first time it happened and had to run to rubislaw in a panic! In the space of 10 seconds the blood had soaked through my trousers, down my legs and into my shoes (sorry for TMI) I've had 3 miscarriages and knew it didn't feel like that at all but thought the worst as it was more blood than I'd seen with ...

Congratulations Hello and Bambie and again to Beattie!! So many positives recently- I am so happy for you all and hope that everyone else going through IVF get positive outcomes very soon I think that's the same as a haematoma Beattie and everything worked out well for me- hope you are enjoying being pregnant. When is your 12 week scan? I just had a couple questions for everyone. We still have a blastocyst stored at Aberdeen clinic but I haven't decided if I can go through another FET due to the...

Hi Beattie02 just saw your post and wanted to offer reassurance. I had bleeding from 6 weeks to 16 weeks with 3 huge bleeds at 9, 10 and 12 weeks and each time I thought this is it. I attended rubislaw after each big bleed and every time baby was dancing away on the screen! I was diagnosed with a haematoma after the last bleed which resolved itself and my little girl was born healthy and thriving. I really hope everything turns out well for you and hope you can relax and enjoy your pregnancy. Xx...

Rodeo girl I'm so sorry to hear your news! I don't have any words to express how awful I feel for you and how cruel life can be! You have through enough already and I just hope that you make a speedy recovery and treatment is straight forward. My heart goes out for you all and I hope that everyone gets their happy ending soon. The fertility journey is not an easy one and it's so easy to become despondent and obsess over every little thing. Stay strong

Hi sorry it's been a while- I pop in now and then to see how everyone is. Think you asked me how the birth was hello- sorry I didn't reply. It was a really good experience- waters broke on the evening of the 1st Sept then our little girl was born in the early hours of the 3rd. Managed to use the pool and barely felt the contractions- so lovely and relaxing so I highly recommend. I just wanted to say how devastated I am for you bambie- I really thought this was your time and everything would work...

Hi sunflower!! That's a good sign lots of HCG I felt rubbish from first testing positive until 18 weeks, nausea and vomiting and constant unpleasant taste in my mouth so kept snacking and eating boiled sweets!! No wonder my weight ballooned!! You just have to do whatever it takes to get you through though it's a small price for the miracle that your body is growing inside you. So happy for you hope you feel better soon and maybe consider telling someone at work Incase you're feeling really ill. ...

Hi kimbers85 I was on the short protocol so norethesterone to time my period for their egg collections, once norethesterone stopped you will have 4 days of bleeding after which you will have your baseline scan to ensure lining thin and to check that there are plenty follicles to recruit in both ovaries. You will then start your stim drugs- I was on gonal F (250iu for first cycle then 150iu for second cycle. After 4 days you will also start cetrorelix which stops you from releasing your eggs from...
