Rodeo girl I'm so sorry to hear your news, there are no words. I joined Surrogacy UK in 2012 after the birth of Emilia as I wanted to give something back for my good fortune. I met a lovely couple & had a surrogate baby boy in Jan 2015. Im helping another couple now & met them through Surrogacy UK. Once you've taken some time you can look on their website & join the boards for free as a non member. Everyone will help with any questions you have, it's a very friendly community & our ethos is frie...

** SECOND TRIMESTER CHAT **

Hi all. Baby Sprout is growing beautifully too, she is due the 31st August. Did anyone else find out their baby's gender? I'm feeling great except toothache which I only ever get during pregnancy. Oddly not with my surrogate baby, I'm off to the dentist later . xxxx

** SECOND TRIMESTER CHAT **

Hi ladies I'm 19 weeks with our 4th baby girly! We have one gorgeous boy too. We found out at 16 weeks with a private gender scan so our older children could come along & see the baby. They were all adamant baby Sprout was a boy. We're all very excited & looking forward to our scan next week (14th). We've already began thinking of names , Our youngest Emilia has already named the baby Imogen , Hubby loves Harriet, I'm loving Lydia & the big kids have chosen Olivia. I guess we'll have to wait to ...

Cost of IVF/ICSI

I was a surrogate for a friend & we used Reprofit in the Czech. Their donor egg cycle was 3500 euros , I think own egg ivf was 1800 euros. They have great results & as a surrogate I found dealing with a foreign clinic far more efficient than the ones we used in the UK.

I want to do a fet cycle but I'm still breast feeding my IVF miracle and my period hasn't returned will I have to wean my lo?

You have to have 3 normal periods after finishing breastfeeding before transfer. Your hormones while breastfeeding can stop you getting pregnant.

Adoption help

Hi I'm not sure of your fertility history but if you are open to the possibility of adoption would you not consider donor eggs/sperm or even embryo adoption? I have friends that have adopted embryos from abroad (Reprofit Czech Republic) the cost was far lower than here & they liked the idea of the anonymity that you no longer get in the UK. I carried a surrogate baby for my friend, they used dodnor eggs & her hubby's sperm. They had wanted to adopt after they though they couldn't have their own ...

Going abroad for iVF/ICSI...which clinic in Czech Republic

I thought I should add that I've also had treatment for surrogacy in Athens. We've had 2 failed attempts , I'm not sure if that alters my opinion but I don't feel as positive about my treatment there. The protocol was very intense, my list of drugs was huge where as positive attempts in the UK & Czech I've been given very different protolcols. I think Serum are great if you have immune issues though xx

reversal! help!

Hi the NHS won't fund ivf if either partner has a child already. I was sterilised at the age of 24 after 3 children. I chose to egg share at CRM London ( I live near Birmingham) My treatment was free if you meet their criteria this could be an option for you too. My treatment worked first time & my baby girl is now 18 months I've since donated eggs at the same clinic.

Are all CRM clinics run by the same people?

Hello I'm due to donate eggs again . I live just outside of Birmingham but my clinic is in London. Can anyone tell me if the CRM clinics are the same company? I'm having trouble getting to London which is a 6 hr trip just for a blood test next week. Having 5 children 4 of which are at 3 different schools is proving tricky to get child care It would be do much easier to have tests & scans done at Coventry CRM & my op in London. I will call & ask th tomorrow but I thought someone on here may be ab...

Host surrogacy. Has anyone done it ?

Hello I just thought I would pop back & update my post post. After Natalie invited me to join the facebook group , I have met an amazing couple. We have been speaking daily & have met in person, my husband & children have met them too & we are now officailly matched. We start our surrogacy journey in early 2013 !!! I'm so happy & can't wait to make their dreams come true. My family have been amazing & are very supportive of my decision to become a suurogate. It all seems to have happened so quic...

New to the site just wanted to say hi as an egg donor

Hi Jenna I used CRM last year for my baby girl who is now 8 months. I also egg shared & I'm doing so again (well just donating) next month . They are closer clinics to me also but I felt so comfortable with CRM, I don't live too far from Birmingham. MFS in Aldridge have a great reputation , I believe with them though that you have to pay for your own drugs & scans which is about £1000. I think Care Nottingham charge about the same. As you know you don't pay anything other than your HFEA fee with...
