I dont think I can do this anymore

Hi Pammy, sorry have not had time to read the whole thread, but well done on persevering with feeding. Just another quick thought to add to the ton of advice - it does sound as if he is 'getting enough' as his weight gain would not be so fab if he wasn't, but it sounds as it he is often uncomfortable and fussy? (I assume he has been checked for a tongue tie as this was mentioned earlier.) My little contribution is: have you considered your own diet in terms of possible sensitivity? I am a midwif...

FIRST TRIMESTER CHAT - 2010

So pleased for you Bunty, it sounds as if the scan went as well as it could. Huge hooray! Wishdust - brilliant too. How fantastic to see the heartbeart. Sorry I didn't introduce myself properly before, I have not posted on FZ for a while as I keep having miscs - I am now 8+ weeks pregnant but at 44 and with 4 previous miscs I am not feeling too hopeful. I do have three lovely kids already, but my hormones insisted on this one last attempt ... I know it is very different to you ladies who have ha...

FIRST TRIMESTER CHAT - 2010

Hi Laura and everyone else feeling rotten with coughs, colds and ms! Just a little thought that although you can't take Lemsip, do try hot lemon and real honey - I put 2 or 3 slices of organic lemon in a cup (it's better to include the skin as it contains oils), pour on boiling water, and stir in one teaspoon of honey. I use Manuka honey because it is supposed to have extra anti-bacterial properties, but all honey is anti-bacterial and soothing. It really helps! So refreshing, even nice for ms. ...

MORNING SICKNESS CHAT

Hi to everyone on this thread, I am new to it and have not even posted on bfp thread as feeling too fragile about this very new little life inside ... having had 4 miscs in last 2 years. But I am always troubled with nausea and sickness and simply couldn't resist pointing out the hypnotherapy cds which have helped A BIT. The best one that I have heard (in my opinion) is the 'Natal hypnotherapy' one called 'overcoming morning sickness'. I usually get sick from 5 weeks onwards but listened to that...

Gyneacologist London

Hi florentinella It depends what you why you want to see a gynacologist, but it might be worth you checking out Gowri Motha? I have not had personal contact with her, but she has written a very popular book 'The Gentle Birth Method' and had quite a few 'celeb' clients I believe! She does consultations regarding fertility and uses both 'conventional' and alternative therapies. The link is http://www.gentlebirthmethod.com/pract_detail.php?id=1 But I am sorry, I don't know anyone personally! **Admi...

RE: FOOD STANDARDS AGENCY - WHAT YOU CAN/CAN'T EAT

Hi Eeyore I haven't been posting recently, just a bit of lurking! But it's great to know that you are all here, so helpful, thank you. Just thought I would update you that the latest FSA guidelines have changed regarding caffeine consumption - they are now recommending a max of 200mgs per day. I believe that some researchers are now saying that it's best to avoid caffeine altogether because the links between caffeine and miscarriage/low birth weight seem to be getting stronger all the time ... b...

TTC NATURALLY CHATTER

Hi Angie I'm nearly 43 and TTC too! I hope that your cycle stabilises. Have you tried any alternative therapies, diet etc? As for me, I am feeling very loony, trying to read every little twinge, sore boobs, etc and of course doing HPT far too early! Then not believing the result and trying again ... My current symptom is definte ovarian pain. AF is due on 28/04/08. I am currently imagining that this extra severe ovarian pain is because my corpus luteum is working overtime to support a pregnancy!...
