Zero/Low Fertilisation Chatter

Dear fz ladies I have come back on to post the news that I am now a mummy to a gorgeous little boy. I am doing this not to make any of you feel bad but to give you all hope. I was one of the original ladies on this thread with icsi zero fertilisation and I NEVER ever ever thought I would have a child. I want you to know miracles do come true. What you are going through is extremely hard, deeply saddening and makes you feel like you are all alone in the world. No one understands how it feels unle...

Coming to terms / accepting male infertility

Thankyou. I wish you all the sucess with what you find out. I guess what I am saying is that we have now accepted we are at the end of the road with this. We want to give up but need help on how people accept and come to terms with infertility, especially men and how they come to terms with it and move on. If anyone could offer pearls of advice we would greatly recieve them MBx

Coming to terms / accepting male infertility

I was wondering if anyone had some advice on coming to terms with male infertility or incompatibility. Anyone got any good advice on how to come to terms with this devastating situation particularly from a mans perspective, when you have come to the end of the road and want to move on. Do any of you have any good books you could recommend? Anything you have read that has helped. Any thoughts or words of wisdom from any men who have been through it and learnt to accept it. thanks MB

No fertilisation on 1st icsi treatment

Any questions you have tigs, just throw them my way and I might be able to help. Firstly, it is completely normal to feel down like you do. And yes dont underestimate the impact all those hormones have on your emotions. They left me feeling quite drained, and my first period afterwards was always a bit different. You should feel back to normal next month hormonally. With regards to reflexology - I have to say I just loved it. If only to calm myself, relax and unwind. I cant vouch that it did any...

No fertilisation on 1st icsi treatment

Ladies..... Firstly I am so sorry to hear about all your bad experiences. It is like reading my own posts 2 years ago. I have held back from writing because I didnt want to bombard you with information when you are feeling so raw with emotion but feel if I can be of any help then I owe it you ladies and to this board, which has helped me through so much. A brief history - 2 years ago my husband and I started off down icsi road . After lots of examinations they really couldnt find anything wrong ...

Oh Mel - its a really hard one this, but I guess I would say dont test too early because the test will be inconclusive. Better to do it when you should would be my feeling. But totally know what you mean about wanting to get head round things..... but loads of pma coming from me, and hoping all you have to get your head around are good things. XXXXX Bunnyx

Mel PMA PMA PMA PMA It takes so much bravery every time you tx. Just look what you have achieved again, and got over the fertilisation bit again... thats brilliant. I dont think you should worry too much about the show. All the hormones we are given on tx just confuse our bodies. And its still way off until testing time. And sometimes it can be a sign of an embryo implanting... lets hope. I am so willing it to work for you Mel. Like all, you so deserve it. Try not to panic, and it actually good ...

Gemma what a day you are having. Listen I dont want to put your hopes up but as much as I know is that at my clinic -ARGC, they will only test on day 14 of your 2ww. If you get a negative they like to test you 2 days later to check. It is still so early. If my memory serves me right a reading over something like 10 or 15 means you're pregnant - I cant be completely sure about this... all I know is that after my failed icsi I was minus 1!! Also I am a great believer in if there is 2 lines somethi...
