Parents with Autistic Children??++

Hi. I haven't been in this forum for a long time. I've been so busy dealing with my little ones and searching the Internet when I needed answers that I forgot all about the wonderful help and support I used to get from this very place. So I was just wondering if there are any specific areas for parent school have a child with Autism and maybe wanted to get help and ideas from other parents in a similar position. X

Going insane please help me!

Hi. I hope this helps to give you some peace of mind. I had some spotting With this pregnancy too. I've looked back at my calendar for you and at 4 weeks 6 days my levels were 695. I too was doing a variety of tests but I left a gap of about five days from doing anothe Clearblue conception indicator test. Your right levels do need to be above 2000 to get a 3+. I did one at about 4 weeks and 4 days and it was 2-3 then I did one at 5 weeks 2 days and it came out at 3+. So within 3 days my levels h...

Cefalexin at nearly 5 weeks pregnant. Anyone taken it for a UTI so early on?

Hi. I'm 4 weeks and 5 days pregnant today. My urine sample has come back clear but I have the symptoms of a UTI. because I get such frequent UTis the doctor feels that I will know the signs and says he will send the sample off for culture but wants me to start treating with Cefalexin from today. I'm so nervous about taking things as I don't want this pregnancy to go wrong but at the same time I was sure my water infection that wasn't treated properly and lasted 4 weeks could have been a contribu...

Hi ladies Inik that's amazing news I'm so pleased for you and you must feel reassured. Sparkles- have you had hcg levels back yet? I'm sure you will see something reassuring on scan it may be worth keeping your appointment. Also things can change loads each time. I had loads with last pregnancy. As well as her scan pictures at 12 and 20 weeks I have her as an embryo and a sac and then a tiny tiny 6 and 7 week old. They're very precious. Splodgeface- hope you enjoyed beyonce and managed to stay a...

** FIRST TRIMESTER CHAT **

Hi sparkles. Try not to worry to much. I had a scan at 5 weeks and 4 days in my last pregnancy due to bleeding. And there was a lot of bleeding too even has some clots. Anyway the scan showed a sac and we had to go back and wait till our next scan at I think just before 7 weeks. Anyway this time there wa a heartbeat. Apparently the scans will change so much within a week. I completely understand the agonising worry but I'm sure everything will be fine. Also I know the bleeding is worrying. I hav...

I sure do and your right it's very annoying and worrying. I did have it with my previous pregnancy too and everything was fine. I'm hoping that will be the case for us both too. A scan put my mind at rest last time so it's nice to know you've got a scan coming up and you can see baby. X

Hi inik29 - yes it was quite a shock to be honest but we are very happy. Just hoping everything goes well. So the sickness is kicking in for you is it, how strange we look forward to it. Then once it's here it's a bit more difficult lol. I was so sick in my previous pregnancy. It started at six weeks then never really stopped. I was dependant on those magnetic bands just to be able to get round tesco without a sick bucket. As for how far along I am we are having a hard time pin pointing it. Goin...

** FIRST TRIMESTER CHAT **

Hi ladies. Would it be ok for me to come and join you over here. I haven't been on for a while but I was on a lot when I had my cycles of ivf. This time it's a surprise natural pregnancy but a very welcomed one. I'm being cautiously optimistic though as I've had some bleeding, although I did get this with my previous pregnancy. This time however when I went to the early pregnancy unit they checked my cervix and it was closed but they also did my hcg blood levels. The levels came back at 35. It w...

Anyone had very low levels of hcg at 4 weeks and not gone on to miscarry

Thanks Maria. I keep telling myself the important thing is the doubling but the nurse didn't think the number was very good and I think was being kind but trying to prepare me for the worst. Anyway I went back today and my levels were at 75 so they have doubled. The nurse was really surprised but really happy for us. I've got to go back on Wednesday for another blood tests and I have my fingers crossed we will come back with levels of 150. I'm trying not to get my hopes up to much though invade ...

Anyone had very low levels of hcg at 4 weeks and not gone on to miscarry

Hi. I had my hcg blood test levels done on Saturday at approx 4 weeks and 2 days although I may have ovulated late so it's not an exact date. My levels came back at 35 and I'm having them rechecked today but feeling very nervous about getting the results. In my heart I feel it's going to be bad news as I know 35 is very low. Thanks

Morning ladies Its getting so exciting now as so many of us are ready to have a little ones. Hope your all feeling well and not too tired. Being pregnant at this time of year and having so much to do ready for christmas can certainly leave you feeling tired. Trailing round the shops is not easy at all. I had another busy weeken at the hospital. The hospital decided that it was time that the baby came because of my pre eclampsia and low platelets and so they've bought the caesarean forward to tom...

** THIRD TRIMESTER CHAT **

Morning ladies Sorry I haven't been on much. Had a difficult couple of months so not really been posting. I've been back and forth from hospital every other day with borderline pre eclampsia. I can't really complain as they are keeping a really close eye on me but they really try and get you to 39 weeks before doing the caesarean if they can which means being checked very often. They've admitted me on a couple of occassions too but goodness me its difficult to rest on the wards. My platelet leve...

Hi Here's Hoping I love the name Imogen. It was a toss up between Imogen and Grace for me so I went with Grace Imogen. Don't worry about someone else calling her the name you like though if its the name you really want because it doesn't matter how unusual the name you pick you'll always find someone with the same one. I have an unusual name but I still find some pop up on occasion. As long as you love the name is the main thing. XX
