Oh maame that's fantastic news, Almost as nervous as you waiting for your update! Hope you enjoy your pregnancy Hun and dont have any scares or complications x And congrats to you too shortie! Can't remember the exact stats but googled at the time and seem to recall odds of MC dropping substantially once you've seen heartbeat - less than 5% at 7 weeks I think, and reducing further each week. Hi positivethoughts! Sounds like you're in a good place just now, keeping positive but realistic is hard ...

Welcome rodeo girl - sounds like everything is about to start moving very quickly for you, all the best x AV - hope you're getting over lap ok. Do you do caster oil packs? Might be worth looking into once your portholes heal, to prevent further adhesions (caused by the surgery). I too was told you have a window of 6m or so when it's easier to conceive but don't know if that applies with male factor. Two plans of attack... lots of fun over next few months on offchance theres a good sperm kicking ...

Oh maame that's fantastic news I had bleeding 5/6 weeks (and again later on) and took to my bed /couch each time, and told one of my bosses so I could phone in at short notice without feeling too guilty / work from home etc. some folk say bed rest doesn't make a difference but I felt better knowing I wasn't taking any chances. Can you take some annual leave / sick leave till you get past that 7 week hurdle? Once you tell work you're pregnant you're protected against discrimination, pg related si...

Glad to hear you've got an early scan maame, will keep everything crossed for you x. I was the same re POAS for weeks, though limited to once or twice a day! did keep sticks and compare to previous ones to make sure they weren't fading though- gross I know - but gave me peace of mind. Wee man doing great, starting to get proper smiles now We're off for first trip...

Sounding good maame the hunger for me just got worse! Morning (Pah! Try all day) sickness kicked in about 8-9 weeks and eating, oddly, was the only way I could stop bring sick. Nausea ceased about 20-22 weeks but I carried on eating like a horse! Put on 4 st, although I've lost 3 of those since he was born, and breastfeeding round the clock so rest should come off soon enough. As smihel says just eat what you like while you can I case you lose appetite later x Is it tomorrow you see cons smihel?...

Did you hear heartbeat? Second that about the cramps, had them on and off right through but wee boy snoring on my chest testament to it being all part of the fun. can be a sign you're doing too much, or not getting enough fluids though so take it easy if they're getting worse, and do speak ...

Ashastar - my wee man the same re sleeping all day and up at night - midwife said to keep him as cool as possible (without being cold obviously) through day and snug at night, and getting him out for fresh air through day, should help. He's getting a little better... Sleeps through from 12-3 most nights now, just need to persuade him to sleep after 3am feed! Sorry to hear you've had mastitis Clare, good for you pers...

Thanks ladies, doing well - just a bit tired and puffy, I'm down to just 1 pair of trainers that fit now! I'm just over 37w net, but was told from the start their target was to get me to 38w so def not long now. That's nice you got to take mum to scan, I took mine to one and she too was fascinated at the advances since she had kids - her doc had a trumpet thingy to listen to heartbeat! Sorry to read about the bleeding Chenab, and awful that they didn't tell you about strep at time. At least they...

Hi zebra, good to hear from you, glad you've got a wee bit of time at home before wee one arrives- know its better safe than sorry staying in hospital but so tiring! My own placenta shifted up enough to try induction rather than section, scheduled for 2.5 weeks time so we could be having our babies about the same time! know what you mean about not being mentally prepared, still adjusting to finally being pregnant! Sorry to read bfn egood x

Hey Clare, great to hear from you - so glad youre doibg well, and congratulations! Fingers crossed your wee (big!) girls are in scbu soon x 35w pip so not long, been googling far too many horror stories about induction, had always assumed hubby would stay with me but seems they get chucked out at night. First exam/prostin about 8/9 pm so looks like I'll be on my own till established labour if it works first time. (Hubby allowed in delivery suite whatever time of day, but stay on a multi bed ward...

This is where I lurk too when not on the aberdeen board! Don't worry about diet when feeling yuck - I lived on cheese and baked potatoes for long enough! the pregnacare made me gag for a while too, so wasn't even taking supplements (just folic acid). Baby will take what he/she needs - it's you that'll suffer if you're low in anythi...

Welcome to the 2ww hello! Don't know Aberdeens policy re freezing but presume they have to be a certain grade to survive the freeze/thaw process, I think you said there was a front runner? Maybe the others weren't quite strong enough for artificial preservation - embryologist told me at second FET that our "incubators" were much better than theirs! Think fresh transfers are generally more successful than frozen anyway, so fingers crossed the ones on board are nestling in well x. (Nb the grades a...
