The more I think the angrier I get....should I complain??

Pringles Just a tip have you read the rules on your PCTs website. On our local PCT they actually stated the clinics that you can use. It might give you an idea if you are forced to use a specific clinic. The rules will give you a guide as to which points you could potentially challenge them on. Regards Pushoz

Hammersmith - treatment feedback and chat

Angie Sounds like you've had a tough time of it. Fingers crossed the stuff you have found on the internet will help to put your mind at rest. I agree with what has been said about the blasto's, it will hopefully save you a little bit of money. Will keep my fingers crossed for the tests and goodluck with the giving up smoking and losing weight. Pushoz

Newbie - Have 1st App with Hammersmith next week

Laura Welcome to the site. My twins are 1 next week but they are the result of ICSI at Hammersmith. We were in a similar position to you, whilst my husband doesn't have CF his tubes are blocked and therefore we had to have ICSI. We were in the same position with the HSG and I pestered my local hospital, it's very funny as I work from home and I got a phonecall at 5.30 asking if I could get there for 10am the following morning, I was convinced that they thought I would say no. Needless to say I d...

Light bleeding in early pregnancy

What wonderful news I've not been on FZ for a while and when I saw you're thread I thought I'd offer my support. Glad things went well yesterday and try not to worry. One of the girls on here and myself had our children 5 days apart and we both had early bleeding her more so than me. She in fact was scanned nearly every week for the first couple of weeks. Whilst it can be serious it also can be nothing so try and relax aboout it. Good luck I hoep everything goes well for you. Pushoz

Question about the Duo Aquapod .

Hob, I've been using my aquapod for about two months now. It was great when they were still a bit wobbly as it gave the the support and now it stops Otis attackign Ava too much as it separates them. However not sue at ten months how much longer you'll get out of it. If you're a member of a twins club ask around if anyone has one second hand. Having said all this I love mine it just makes bathing them easier. Pushoz

How do you persuade your consultant to consent to a double transfer?

I second what has been said in terms of tell your consultant what you have told us, lay the situation down to him as you see it. Ask about the quality of the embryos etc and make a valued choice. DO you mind me askign are you NHS or privately funded? If you are NHS it might be more of a fight to get DET then if you go privately but at my clinic I'm not aware that they have ever refused to go down the DET route they have jsut given strong guidance for this option. We had SET on our IVF, it was ou...

Decline in Growth rate for Twins at 32wks

Geordie so sorry you feel so bad. I felt really rubbish the last couple of weeks not sleeping, blown up feet, all over itching. It totally feels like a cop out when they say oh it's the stress of carrying twins. Have you tried eating dark chocolate? I'm sure you have but if not it's meant to be a natural source of iron. I just liked the excuse of being able to eat chocolate. Pushoz
