Thanks JourneyAtoB and Janelle132. Yes that would be nice to do something Janelle. Your right Journey I kept telling myself not to get my hopes up it might not work 1st time but still a big disappointment when it didn't work out, I just have to try and think positive for the next time and hope it works xo

Anyone starting ivf at Belfast rfc any time soon?

Hi JourneyAtoB, I got put on the list on the 11th May and I'm also just after a private failed private cycle. My review appt is this week so waiting to hear what they say. I would love to go again straight away but will probably wait until the free go as Feb isn't that far away now. It's such a stressful time going through it all and then for it to be unsuccessful is very disappointing Hopefully you get some answers at your review appt and your next go you get your bfp xo

Gcrm Belfast anyone starting soon

Hi Letitbe, I'm not doing access fertility but my meds for ivf cost £989.25 it's a company called fertility2u that you pay and they send the drugs to gcrm and you collect from there. There's a big difference between those two prices i think it just depends what course of treatment the doctors rec for you. x

Round 2- rfc v gcrm

Hey! I just want to wish yous all the best for round 2. I'm just about to start ivf treatment at GCRM (I'm 'unexplained' and this will be my first go) I was also thinking about going for the access fertility but in the end we decided to try once with GCRM and if it fails we will wait on our NHS go next year. x

New and only starting

Hi Gracey, I had my first appt on the 9th Feb too! mine was with Doctor McFaul, I rang today as I still had no letter and at the 1st appt he said my next one would be April but his secretary told me this morning he is off on annual leave in April and there where no appts left so she's booked me in for an appt in May. Not sure who your doctor is but it's maybe worth giving them a call xo

RFC Belfast First Appointment

Hi Rachel, I had my first appointment last week, like you I have already had tests carried out by my GP- blood tests to show ovulation, internal scan, smear test, hsg test and husband has already had SA test and all results came back fine for us. (we have been ttc for around 20 months) The first appointment was pretty general the doctor asked us both questions bout our general health, how long we had been ttc etc. He done an internal scan and the nurse took some bloods and BMI. They told us our ...
