Daily routine 14months

Sorry you are struggling with a routine. We have good days and bad days. We are by no means in a set routine. My little boy is 15 months. He's up anywhere between 6-7:30 depending on if I'm up early for work. Sometimes he has a morning nap other times just a big long nap in the arvo. Lunch about 12:30. Cup of milk 3:30, tea 5:30. Stories 6:30, bath 7 & then milk and bed. We are very lucky that he goes down no probs and most of the time sleeps all night but about once a week for some unknown reas...

Severe Endometrosis - Northern Ireland

Hi Butterfly. Can't believe you are still waiting for a date, how hard for you. Fingers crossed you find out very soon. Re: bowel prep, it's not v pleasant but not too bad! Def ask for your own loo v close by!;-) I had to stay overnight after the IP when I had the bowel prep, maybe something to do with that? Keep yourself busy in the meantime, I hope you are not in too much pain from the endo. Xx

Tantrums? At 11months old.

My little one started doing the same around 10 months, he is now one and it's getting worse. My mum tells me it's just them becoming assertive and finding themselves! It's a frustrating time as he wants to walk but can't. We just stay calm and ignore, stick to our guns and hope for the best! Everytime little one is screaming it just reminds us how lucky we are to have him! You're not alone. Good luck. Xx

Morning sickness...How much is too much?

I'm so sorry to hear you are still suffering. You are right though, they wouldn't give it to you if it wasn't safe. It is dangerous for you to get de hydrated so important for you to be able to eat and drink. It will get better though. I think it was trial and error for me when to stop but to give you an idea, I was on and of them until about 18 Weeks, everyone is different though. Fingers crossed you start to feel better. I know how horrid and worrying it is. Take care hun. Xxx

Severe Endometrosis - Northern Ireland

Yes, everyone is different. I had to take quite a few Weeks each time as I'm a dance teacher so my job is very physical. I think the longest was 6 Weeks. But obviously prancing around is v different from sitting at a desk so you will have to see how you feel. It will also depend on how extensive your surgery is. One of my ops was v simple but another led to more complications so recovery took longer. Try not to worry yet (easier said than done I know) and fingers crossed you get your date throug...

Morning sickness...How much is too much?

Congrats hun! So happy for you. Can't believe I missed this amazing news! So sorry you are feeling so sick. Don't worry about taking the meds, they are completely safe for your little ones. Eat little and often and keep hydrated. Ice lollies are great. seek medical advice if you can't keep water down. I was incredibly sick for 20 Weeks. Anti sickness meds can help but not always. Worth a try though because dehydration is dangerous for your precious cargo! Lots of love. Xx

Severe Endometrosis - Northern Ireland

Hi butterfly. Sorry to hear u have to have surgery. It's a shock and horrid having to wait for a date, esp when you just want to get on with ttc. I had 4 laps for endo and ovarian cysts. After 4 years of ttc we had ivf and we were successful after the 2ND treatment. We are truly blessed to have our little boy. I really hope u get ur surgery asap. Please let me know if you have any questions re endometriosis or the surgery. Good luck. Xx

Low Placenta in twin 1

Hi Suzy. Sorry you have this worry. I had severe placenta praevia with my lo but this is very unusual. Most of the time the placenta moves as the uterus grows. I met lots of women who we're in hospital with this and went full term .you will be scanned alot and closely monitored. I'm horrified that you weren't given more info, no wonder you are so anxious. Glad you are seeing your midwife soon I hope you get some reassurance. Take care. X

Early delivery at 32 weeks

Hi little legs. my little one was born at 32 Weeks so I understand your worries. I can't add much more than these ladies have told you. Ask to speak to a paediatrician if you can and fire any questions you have at them. We had the whole process of exactly what might happen explained to us and although parts we're very upsetting, I preferred to know everything. Definitely ask about the steroids. Have lots of comfy but light clothes to wear for yourselves as it's very very hot in SCBU. Also a good...
