Like Michelle said, the clinic must be very happy with your eggs to suggest a blastocyst transfer. They refused to consider BT for me becasue I had only 4 fertilised eggs. I believe success rates are better with BTs rather than a 3 day ET. The downside is that if none of the embies make it to 5 days, you could wish that you had done it earlier. There are some good stories on here if you do a search. xxx Anu

Controlled crying in the day

Hi They might even take turns being demanding. Unless they're dirty or hungry, its fine to leave them somehwre safe. Don't feel guilty about it. They will be fine. And they'll learn to entertain theselves, like mine do now. At least I call it entertaining, most people call it fighting. xxx

When did everyone announce their pregnancies or if you havent, when do you plan on telling everyone?

I called Dh in the US and then we told our parents the day we got our BFP. We didn't tell anyone else until 12 weeks were up. I posted on here same day, of course. xxx

Emilia, Glad Raffi is fine. A similar thing happened with Ds and a cup of soup. He had just started to pull it down when DH pulled him out of the way. The heart just skips a beat. Mrs. J gives some good advice. xxx

does no nausea mean low hcg levels?

Hi Jen I didn't have sickness at all right through my pregnancy and my first tri was lacking in most symptoms. Feeling more tired is pretty much all I had - oh and the moodiness. Dh was convinced I was carrying the devil's spawn. Don't worry too much and try and enjoy your sickness free pregnancy. xxx

A splash mat that works and lasts?

I did the same as Lulu. Have a massive plastic tablecloth underneath the highchairs. It hasn't torn yet and I have the bulky chicco poly chairs. xxx

Please help with this - granny issue

Glitzy, I don't think you're being unreasonable at all. I know all about grannies crossing boundaries. Have you tried telling her explicitly that it's partly concern for her well being that you don't want to leave Max with her? I'm sure you have. I'd also have enlisted my dad's help. Will that work for you? Hopefully, your mum realises that Max is your baby and you ahve to do what's best for him. xxx

RE: Baby BCG

Hi Ds had the same thng. It lasted almost 2 months and then went away. GP said it was fine. The reaction doesn't last this long for most babies. Ds was an exception and his was compounded by the immunization shots.

5 1/2 week worries

Hey I had no symptoms at all and worried just like you. And that's with twins. I kept waiting for some symptom to appear but nothing happened until the 3 trimester. Good luck. xxx

RE: Gestone and how long for?

Hiya Indie I stopped the progesterone soon after my BFp. I guess every clinic is different. When you transfer from your clinic to your local health service - mention it to your midwife or GP and see what they sy. Congratulations on the twins, they're lots of work but great fun! xxx

The low down on C Section births...

I had an emergency C-sec as well. I found the pain killers quite effective and wasn't in too much pain. Get out of bed as soon as the midwives/ doctors tell you to. Getting mobile is important. The MW helped me latch on on the same night. There was about an hour and a half delay between when they were born and when I put them to my breast. You might think you don't have milk/ colostrum because of your c sec but keep putting your LO to the breast as often as possible. xxx
