Is this colic?

Katy My little boy who is 7 weeks is the same. Feeds for a while and then goes sleepy and won't take the bottle. Really struggles to bring wind up and I find once it is out he then wakes up and will feed more. It can sometimes take 30 mins just to get the wind out....!!!! It is so frustrating! I call is "wind sleep". I am trying different bottles at the moment to see if that helps. My little man is also very sicky which doesn't help and as soon as I lay him down at night after a feed he cries or...

Cluster Feeding

Thanks all. He is now sleeping in his moses by my bed and feeding every 3 hours at night with no crying at all which is great!!! He does have very bad wind though which causes a laugh, but he does seem uncomfortable bless him!! Lots of grunting! It is just the evenings i find a strain. Last night he was feeding on and off for 3 hours and would not go down. Screams until you pick him up and feed him again. Just hoping it won't last much longer..........

Cluster Feeding

Thanks for all the advice. One other thing, what are people's thoughts on having him sleeping in the bed with me?? Seems to be the only place he will settle at night!! He then goes 3/1/2 hours between feeds and doesn't cry at all. Just worried he will get too used to it and then we will stuggle to get in in his own room!

Cluster Feeding

Thanks for the advice. It was the midwife who said to have him in our bed. I was planning to have him in his moses basket in his cot in his own room. When should I expect to see some sort of routine fall into place??? All my friends keep saying you are mad feeding on demand, "get him in a routine" but I want to go with what ever is best for him. I just want to be sure that I can't over feed him. He is always sick after food, so wasn't sure if it was cos he was drinking too much milk....!! What a...

Cluster Feeding

Hi Can anyone please help me.............I feel like a milk machine!!! My baby boy is 2 weeks 4 days old and is cluster feeding all evening and now today all morning as well. Every time i put him down he cries and if i try to wind him, put him over my shoulder, he just tries to suckle any part of my body and gets himself in a state. At night he is sleeping and feeding every 3 hours which is fine, although we have had to have him in our bed as this is the only way he will settle back down. Is thi...

Maxi Cosi Car seat!

We bought the Easybase (http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/pa…%3EEASYBASE.htm) , but I think that one will only work with the BMW and not the Audi with the Isofix seats. I just can't work out what they mean in the description when they say "This product isnt Isofix compatible, although it can be used in a car with Isofix but this base is not Isofix." So for the Audi with Isofix seats, would I need to buy the following? http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/pa…t%3EEASYFIX.htm Could we not use ...

SPD - Syphsis pubis dysfunction

I have had pelvic pain too. I am swimming and doing yoga which is really helping! Make sure you get up and move around and don't sit for too long. (otherwise you end up walking like you have just got off a horse after 10 hours of riding)

Nuchal Translucency measurement?

Hi All I had my 12 week scan nearly 2 weeks ago and had the NT test done. I still haven't heard anything back from the hospital with my results, however on my notes it says that the Nuchal Translucency measurement was 2mm. Is that normal at 12 weeks 1 day????? I am so worried about the results and just wish something would come in the post saying all is Ok. I am only 28, but still have this horrible feeling that something is going to be wrong.
