Hi Newbie 15, Great to hear you are back…… we cycled together in Nov/Dec 15. I am currently waiting on a letter for FET, we were put on list beginning June, now we were going to a wedding abroad the end of August which i think was put into my notes, so assuming thats why i havnt heard anything. When did you go on the list etc. I wish you so much luck in this cycle. I read your finding this treatment very long, but its alot less invasive? I would love to know if mine will be this side of Christma...

Just starting out

Hi Mrs 2017, i just read your post & had to reply. I had a miscarriage, & 2 ectopic which resulted in the removal of both my fallopian tubes. A year later we had icsi & as i write this my 13 month old son is having a nap!! It is a massive decision, removing your tubes but you have to trust the medical profession they know best. My advise would be to remain positive & don't give up hope you are at the beginning!!!!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated Belfast rfc

Yes you go through local NHS, just as a "regular" pregnant lady! There will be maybe 2/3 scans throughout your treatment cheking the progress of eggs etc, then to confirm the pregnancy. When you begin treatment it all goes pretty quickly. Hope this helps

Hi Ally, I cycled in Nov/Dec 15 which resulted in a gorgeous baby boy!! I would advise you to try & relax as much as possible. They give you gas & air but it is important to breathe throughout. I won't say its not painful because i found it to be, however it is over a lot quicker than you expect. So bear that in mind. No pain, no gain. . . . .Good Luck

It's most likely for your blood results & treatment plan, from memory this is when you collect you medication also. My advice is just go with the flow & take each appointment as it comes, don't be afraid to ask questions when you are there, or between now & then write the questions down. They do explain everything very well. Good Luck!

Initially 6months was my plan for b.feeding, but as this is near I'm not comfortable with just stopping i'll see how i go. We are going on holiday in 2 weeks & want to feed for that as it will be so handy…… after that im not sure, im hoping he will lead the way for me……….. We have ONE frosty from memory possibly grade A. From reading up FET doesn't require injections, the treatment length seems to be less which is promising. That is fantastic having 8 frosties, have you made the 1st step towards...

I've got a date for the glucose test, got no info just a letter to say they were a little raised, i'm required to book app for test that's all. It's to test for gestational diabetes. I was shocked as I've been off all sweet things for lent, so i'll just have wait until test! Hope everyone else is keeping well!
