** THIRD TRIMESTER CHAT **

Hi Just a quick post as totally knackered! Been to hospital for a scan today and thought I would update! Both twins are fine and good weights - 6 and half pounds and just under 6 pounds. However the smaller bottom twin is breech! And the other is laid across the top like a T! The upshot is that I have to have a c section. I am all booked in for Monday and soooooo excited. I get to meet my babies and the pain will start to subside. Am nervous and excited at the same time! We did push hard for soo...

** THIRD TRIMESTER CHAT **

Hey all Aramass have inboxed you. Wishing and Hoping - I know what you mean! I thought being pregnant would be great but has been a trauma. However it will be worth it in the end and I can't wait to meet my little troublesome duo. Mrs Harper - Glad you able to have home birth! As for SPD stands for Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction I have copied and pasted this from a website and added my bits at the end - basically it means the two halves of your pelvis are connected at the front by a stiff joint cal...

THIRD TRIMESTER CHAT - 2010

Hey I just looking and I am not on the Hall! Please could you add me due date is the 30th January but like Aramass I think my boys will be early as were similar size at 30 weeks! Welcome Danielle - I too am on iron tablets and they are not too bad - made me feel much less tired and stopped cramps and restless feet. Make sure you eat things that are high in fibre to help out! I find a few dried prunes a day help to keep me regular and drink loads. Doctor also advised to take with fresh orange jui...

My SPD is getting worse and I now have a wheelchair for when I go out as can't cope with walking very far. Due to the snow I am pretty much snowed in as won't drive in snow and worried about falling over so don't wanna go out. Watching pap on tv, reading, fakebooking and making some xmas presents to make the time pass. Nursery and baby stuff...

SECOND TRIMESTER CHAT - 2010

Hey I agree with Daezil your personals Platinum must take ages! I am too lazy but like reading people's posts! Luckymb - Thanks will try cranberry capsules. My midwife said drink lots! But that your tube from bladder to outside kinks during pregnancy so that prob why I got so many infections and both my babies are low in my tummy kicking my bladder ALL the time! Platinum - NCT classes sound good we only went for NHS and the midwife is a nutter but sooo funny and down to earth. She makes it seem ...

SECOND TRIMESTER CHAT - 2010

Hey all Thought I would say welcome to all newbies and welcome back to all oldbies! Doppler experience from me - midwife checked at 16 weeks and found both did warm might not hear either but it inspired us to buy a machine and have found heartbeats pretty much everytime after that. They are sometime clearer than others and I assume it depends upon where the babies are! We assumed they would be in the same place each time but no! One of the cheeky monkeys seems to sit on my bladder right at the b...

SECOND TRIMESTER CHAT - 2010

Welcome new ladies! Sorry ladies but us twin mummies are very lucky having a scan every 4 weeks- I know I would book private scans too if had last scan at 20 weeks. As for prunes you go girls!!!! Mima08 - what a good idea to have your sex written and hidden in an envelope I never even thought of that! As for me having a very painful day today and waiting to hear what the doc says about signing me off for a bit longer. Went to physio and not much can do just offer crutches! And warn that I might ...

SECOND TRIMESTER CHAT - 2010

Hey all Becjay - My consultant told me the same and said to stop taking folic after 12 weeks. Siad didn't do any harm either way but don't worry about it all the bits are formed by then that need the folic acid. Mima - I am trying to get small bits of exercise too mainly because these are supposed to help my SPD - I try and swim one of the best forms as takes the pressure off. I do pregnancy yoga class one night and walking a bit if I can but I am off work sick with SPD as it is painful and wear...

SECOND TRIMESTER CHAT - 2010

Hi Hopeful - How awful for you. Hope DP is getting better and all well soon. Not much comfort but nice to know people are thinking of you. Take care of you and him. Blessings scan was good. Both babies are absolutely fine. The scan was uncomfortable as one of the babies would not show it's face and she has to press really hard! Still as long as everything is ok you don't mind. Still think both are boys. i loved seeing them on the screen and have two great pics to add to our collection. We then w...
