We are doing great, Tobey is 21 months in a few days, Cannot believe where the time goes. Was just thinking today about how much I don't want him to grow up, he still looks like a baby as he is still bald lol but it's went so fast and I cannot believe in just a few months he is going to be 2. Going to read back a few pages but wanted to pop on and say hi. I missed all your lo...

when should baby be sleeping in their own room?

I had TJ(my TJ) in cradle with us til he was 7 months old until we moved into our new place when he had his own room in his cot. I was expecting a bit of an unsettles time but i think 2 days and he got the message that this was his room now and he has slept fine in his cot ever since. If I ever have another Im putting them in the cot right away, saves the hassle of unsettling them every stage. It was heavenly getting our room bak and not having to tiptoe around but same time worrying being apart...

When Im on a day off get so much done but when im working I never find time to do it all. Luckily MIL is very good with TJ and Dh often takes him there and she takes him walks and even baths him before I pick h...

Things they don't tell you about parenting

That when your son is having a nap in the room right next to the bathroom and you need a pee the flush is sooooooooo loud and goes on forever so you "forget" to flush

Luckily lady upstairs from me is a nurse and DH rushed him into A&E while I was at work ut she checked him over and all was well, Only lasted a few days and he seemed fine. Isn't it cold?? Forget how bitter it gets in the winter. Tobey dropped his pm bottle a while ago, I tried it for a month after he made it obvious it was over but he sometimed wouldnt take a drop. Still try him...

What am I doing wrong?

BGE Reading your post takes me right back to my BF struggle, TJ fed perfect til he was 3 weeks old then it all turned into what sounds very similar to whats happening to you. TJ's problem was his sleep too. He wanted to use me to suck but didnt want the milk, He could stay awakw 8 hours at a time and obviously be shattered and screaming for hours as he just wouldnt sleep. I switched to bottles when he was 10 weeks old as I just couldnt cope any longer I still live with the guilt today I tried so...

Hello ladies Been a while, so excited to see more successful tx while I been away congrats to you both. I love coming back on here and seeing good news. Lainey good luck for testing. Like the other girls said I had really terrible cramps right up til I was 10 weeks pregnant. Day 8 was worst as someone else said, I was in tears thinking it was all over as AF cramps were so bad. Very best of luck. Andrea, how are you? Clara hows LO?

Hello all Thats my internet up and running and finally settled into our new place On holiday this week and DH has managed to get a couple days work so its just me and TJ and I have to be honest I was terrified of having him all day on my own after 3 months but I absolutely loving it. He is so good all the time. He is crawling(well if you can call it that ) He scoots round on his hands and feet rather than knees and is trying to pull himself to stand but doesnt have the balance yet. He is teethin...

Don't feel like a mum anymore

Hey all Been a while but things getting me down so much. I am going to be completely and utterly honest as I cant seem to be with anyone I know. I work full time, Before I went back to work I did everything for TJ, all the mornings, nights and in betweens. Most days now I see him for all of an hour unless Im on a day off and Im so tired I hate to say this but I just leave it to DH. I feel so guilty all the time. On my days off I wake up to find DH has got up with him and given hom his breakfast ...

Hey mums and bubs Just a quick one from me. Im not going to even try to catch up either been far too long. I will be connected to internet really soon, have moved into my new place and just awaiting the company to send the router. Seems everyone has came a long way. TJ got his 2 bottom teeth through just before he turned 6 months and Im sure there are another 2 on the way. He sailed through teething no bother, not even poopy nappies or anything. He is sitting up himself, until he gets excited an...

dh sperm just 11.

My Dh has a SA that showed 1 sperm seriously 1 and it wasnt moving. After 3 months we did another and he had 400 000 so it could be stress while giving SA or a cold that affected the SA. The drs were so concerned he wouldnt be able to give a good enough sample to use on EC day they told us to consider using donor. I pushed for another SA which I asked if was decent could we freeze. They agreed and we got 5 threads in storage but he managed to give a good sample and didnt need the frozen. It does...

How much?

Are you BF before his food feeds? As long as he is taking his milk he can have as much as he seems to want. I asked HV the same question other day as TJ is eating a LOT. He started off on small amounts too. Now he has a ice cube(they are deep trays) of savoury and 2 ice cubes of fruit twice a day. HV just told me if I give him his milk first then he can eat until he decides he has had enough. TJ tummy been fine and still taking 4 ilk feeds a day. She aslo said once you get them started there is ...

anyone else feel guilty when they have ME time?

Yes yes yes yes yes(enough yes's yet? ) You know my Dh is the same. He pops out an hour here and aft there and I get so pissed off that he can do it without caring and I cant nip to the shop without feeling bad. I have a night out on Sat with the girls and am planning on getting quite drunk but I just know I wont be able to relax for the guilt that I should be at home, even though he will be in bed and not even aware I am not there. I think its just a normal thing but I think everyone needs me t...

Too young for waiting list???

I believe I was 22 when I first set out for investigations at fertility clinc. They put me on the waiting list and I think I still had 6 months til I turned 23 as its the same here 23 for funding. I guess it depends on who you see but as long as you are 23 when funding is sent for I see no problem

Sickness stopped & now bad cramping, is something wrong?

I was the same too. Had terrible cramps from BFP til around 10 weeks. So much so booked a private scan 100 miles away as NHS refused to help me and everything was fine. I know its really worrying I remember being there myself but it seems quite common hun. You could always ask for a scan for some reassurance

Hey all Took TJ to baby clinic this morning. He is 17lbs 10 and jumped to the 75th percentile I got a lecture about weaning early as I knew I would but TBH I dont think I doing anything wrong. He is still taking his milk. In fact more milk than he took before solids. Today he will have 35oz. The most he has ever had and he had lunch and a fruit puree for desert. I agree that milk should be his main source of nutrition til 6 months and probably beyond but I was weaned at 3 months and so was both ...

Night Feed

Hey Grace Im sorry your having so much trouble. Would it be possible to try mixing a small amount of formula with EBM to see if he can get used to the taste? TJ wont drink cow and gate but takes aptamil no problem so definatly is the taste with him. I guess anything thats different is going to take a little bif of adjustmet but completely understand that you dont want another fight esp as your so tired you really do deserve a medal hun. I dont know how you have managed so long. Is the solids not...
