Night Terror?

Hi buzzbee, I think my son (15 months old) is having them too. They happen almost every other night and about 2 hours after I have put him down. He wakes screaming and when I go into him, he is thrashing about in his cot or sat up screaming. I dont think he is awake and his eyes are closed (as he is screaming so much). I try to settle him but he resists and almost fights me off, pushes me away. Nothing will settle him, I've tried music, shushing, stroking his head and back (which he normally lik...

Failed FET Gutted as our last chance

Our 5 day frozen blasto did not survive thaw - just heard this morning. I was due to go into clinic today for transfer and I'm totally gutted. I asked the embryologist last week what the quality of my blasto was and she just said "it must be good otherwise we wouldnt have frozen it". I feel totally in the dark at the moment as I was too upset to speak to her this morning. This was our last chance. Didnt know where and what to post really - just need to write something. I cant believe I wont be a...

AC Measurement above 95th Centile - advice needed please.

Hi Guys, and thank you so much for your replies. I feel so much better. I was so happy and excited after the scan and then the worry set in and by this morning, I woke up worrying about it and cried the whole time in the shower... But after reading your posts, I can let myself get excited again and relax again. Thank you for taking the time to reply. Viv - you were up early this morning!! Thanks again guys, BonBon xx

AC Measurement above 95th Centile - advice needed please.

Hi, Happy new year to everyone!! I've just got back from my 20 week scan - it was amazing and we found out we're having a boy! Argh! the sonographer said everything looked fine but at the end she told me that the Abdominal Circumference was above the 95th Centile, the Head Circumference was on the cusp of being too big but "nothing to worry about". She said to speak with my consultant in 4 weeks time about why the baby has a "big belly". She then went on to ask me if I was diabetic or any in the...

Abnormal Smear

Hi chillimint - thanks for not reading and running! I hope you are well. Mrs Jasper - I had a moderate result so I was referred to colposcopy and when I was examined, they said the changes were only mild - not moderate. After this, we had ICSI treatment resulting in a BFP. I recently went for a follow up and they were planning to do a smear but when I told them I was pregnant (still sounds weird but lovely coming out my mouth!) they said they couldn't do the smear but would still like to take a ...

Abnormal Smear

Hi. I had an abnormal smear (mild changes) a few months before having my BFP. I had a follow up appointment and the nurse said she wanted to paint some dye on my cervix to have a look (I didn't let her) - is this safe? I've tried to find out from midwife/ACU but they are all very vague and difficult to track down (midwife in particular!) Any help would be greatly appreciated BonBon xx

FIRST TRIMESTER CHAT - 2010

Hi guys - another question - I know HJP has had similar worry but I'm not feeling anything at all anymore. No sickness or tiredness, boobs only sore first thing in the morning - and no bump. I dont have my scan until 13 weeks! Which is 5 weeks away. Any advice? Should I just relax and carry on? I'm just thinking I'll just carry on but it is niggling at the back of my mind..is this normal to have no symptoms? BonBon xx

Can I know beforehand......

Actually Shelley, perhaps that's a good way of you letting off steam and managing your stress so just keep doing what you're doing if it works for you. Was just a bit worried that's all, love and hugs. Hope all went well today hun, BonBon xxxx

Can I know beforehand......

Hey Shelly I agree with Mr C - I think worry is far worse for you and you could make yourself ill. You talk about looking after yourself and I think trying to relax and stop ruminating and catastophising is a good place to start. I know it's easier said than done and I'm not claiming to be relaxed and easy going myself because I have worried too. Someone on here told me to stop worrying too as adrenalin (released when we stress and worry is not good for the Little One) I hope this doesn't sound ...
