What would you do? Offered an interview for a job which means we can just about survive financially but Id only work 21 hrs.

I agree with the girls ... go for it ... you can't get the time back when G is older. I work 18.5 hours and it's plenty -- your paying job is only a small job compared to your proper job --- being a Mum :-) . If you can get by financially go for it. Fingers crossed

Gestational Hypertension

Hi .. I had high blood pressure with my second child from around 15 weeks .. I did end up having to take medication twice a day and had to be monitored a little more but everything was ok ... I wasn't allowed to go much over my due date and was induced at 40+2 ... my blood pressure came down pretty quickly afterwards -- within a week or two and my little monster is now 4 1/2 :-)

** POTTY TRAINING **

Might be he's just not quite ready yet .... leaving it for a few weeks or a month could make all the difference .... I'm trying to remember when I actually started with Gregor and I think he was 3 before I started ... yeah he was ... he turned 3 at the end of May and I started him just before we went on hols in August as he was starting Nursery when schools went back in August and it literally took a couple of days ... just a thought although I'm sure some other wise mums might be able to give a...

hypospadia?

Pamela, First of all congratulations on becomming a mummy My eldest had this - it was diagnosed when he was born too --- he had his operation when he was 15 months and he stayed in Yorkhill Hospital for 1 week (me too) -- he does look different from his little brother but I wouldn't say he's got a deformed tinkle .... it just looks as though he has been circumsized (spelling?). He is 10 now and doesn't have any problems that we are aware of ... he stands up to pee and if he didn't have is op he ...

Daytime Nap

Gregor was two in the May and we stopped having daytime naps shortly after we came back from hols in the July --- I found that, like Joe, he would go to bed as usual at 7.30pm and could still be gabbing at 9.30 - Gregor used to go for a 2 hour nap around 12.30/1pm so to begin it was kinda tough cutting it out ... not just for him but for me ... it meant I didn't get a break all day ...but it worked and since then bedtime is 8pm ... just after the adventures of Madaline - and that's him .. usuall...

Nursery-making up bottles.

tommy tippee do little tubs that sit inside the bottle ... ie you boil up the water and when it's cooled enough put it in the bottle but you then separately measure your scoops of formula into a separate little tub which sits just around the rim of the bottle and then put the lid on .... when it's time to feed your LO you simply empty the contents of the tub into the water and shake to mix together ... I used these loads when Gregor was little and we were out and about -- think I got mine from A...

Wrist Rein ?

Hi guys, We are off to Blackpool in two weeks and Gregor doesn't use his buggy anymore - he has a little money harness that he used to wear on his back but it's a little too tight to be comfortable now and I'm looking to get one of those wrist reins so that I can make sure he doesn't wonder off or get lost in a crowd .... but I'm looking for somthing a bit different ... not the normal navy .. I was sure ebay would be the place but it's all very tame and not very exciting ... anyone any ideas on ...

Trunki ??

thanks for that Bubble ... had thought there was a thread about them somewhere ... might try and go somewhere that has them on display to make sure he's not too tall .... I know if I order one and it comes to the house for him to try I'll never get to send in back ... he'll def. want to keep it -- even if it's too small
