Cazzmo, thats the thoughts that myself and dh have had regarding the painkillers causing constipation. We thought it may have something to do with my bowels trying to regulate themselves again or something. Its interesting that you think the same as us. Hopefully it is just that. I would hate to have caught the flu and be giving it to the little fella. Thanks for your input Honey x

Hello Peeps, I have a couple more questions for all you knowledgeable folks! I have had diarrhoea (sorry) for the last 2 days and every time I eat something I have to dash to the toilet and I have lost my appetite too which is very strange for me. Its been 8 days since my c-sec and 2 so do you think it may have something to do with that? The diarrhoea seemed to have began when I stopped my pain killers too. Seems a bit of a coincidence. Im really worried about the above as I also have a not-so-n...

Hi Lovies, I didnt take any of my painkillers yesterday to see if that was connected to why I was getting the chills in the night and last night I didnt get cold at all. I wonder if this is just a coincidence or whether they had something to do with it. Bit worrying. Especially as I could do with a few tablets this morning as csec is a bit sore.

Hi ladies, Can I join you in here?............... My son is one week old today and I have been out of hospital for 3 days and have a few worries I thought the best people to ask would be you guys incase you have experienced it yourselves. 1) I have been waking in the middle of the night freezing cold with chills and my teeth even chatter but didnt know if this had anything to do with the GA/C-section I had or possible anything to do with the GD I had during pregnancy. Has anyone experienced this...

Major Swelling

Hi Bells, To be honest I cant remember, I wasnt exerting myself in any way though, cant do that at all these days Ive just had a chat with my mum on the phone and although shes no expert either she has suggested I wait until the morning and see what happens with the swelling. If its the worst thing possible - pre eclampsia onset then will waiting one night make any difference? Its all a bit scary when you dont know much about something in particular. I have tried to do a bit of research but it j...

I have been wearing flip flops today, would that make a difference, because they are really flat and less supportive?

Major Swelling

I dont wanna come across as paranoid but I have noticed my feet have pockets of fluid and they are massively swollen. I noticed it because my skin tightened up and it felt like I had something between 2 of my toes and when I looked it was like they were restricting each other. I hope you know what I mean??? My hands are swollen too and dh reckons my face looks swollen too although I cant tell. My fingers always seem the most swollen first thing in the mornings when I find it hard to bend them. I...

His class at school have made him a massive 'Get Well Soon' card and all drawn little pictures in it. He loves it, its great! He's looking forward to going back to school now.

Adenoids out, uh oh!

Hi all, We have been home about 20 minutes and all did go well, thank you. When we first got there they made him put his p'j's on and then covered the three areas with magic cream so he wouldnt feel the canular and then wheeled him down about 2 hours later for the canular to go in and then for him to be put to sleep. It was all very quick - very impressive actually. The women were fab! I very nearly buckled and shed a tear on the way out of theatre but I held it together and I was very proud of ...

Adenoids out, uh oh!

2 Years ago approx he stuck little bit stones in his left ear and they went in so deep that he had to be put under GA to remove them! Little monkey!! I took him down to theatre and when they put him under I realised that they usher you out pretty quick before they shove the tube thingy down his throat. Anyway, my legs went to jelly and the room spun for a couple of seconds whilst I was walking back to the ward, it was a very strange feeling which I have never felt before or since. It may have be...

Thanks Compley, With less than 24 hours to go I am getting a bit nervous so that message has really helped and with your first hand knowledge. I will be glad when tomorrow is over and I am praying there are no complications. Will keep you all updated. Thanks again for the reassurance.
