When was your child dry at night?

Hi It's made no difference so far I'm afraid he still has a wet pullup in the morning. Where do I get the training pants from? He is 110cm tall and 3stone in weight would they fit his size?

Egg collection sedation

You can normally choose not to have sedation and will be given a pain relief pump that you control. The sedation is really not that bad thought and wears off very quick.

can i request a change in medication?

I was the other way round, used pessaries for first 3 cycles then they changed to gel. I hated it and on my 5th cycles asked if I could use pessaries instead and they said yes. You can only ask xx

When was your child dry at night?

Thanks Phillip - think we will give it a try. Our problem is he is starting to not want to wear a pullup as they are for "babies" in his opinion so he sometimes takes it off during the night and we wake up to him upset as he has a wet bed. Will give it a bash tonight and see how we get on. xx

When was your child dry at night?

My son has just turned 4 and has been out of nappies daytime now for just over a year. Just wondering at what age I should be thinking of trying him without a pullup at night? His pullups are wet most mornings and only occasionaly will he wake up at night to go to the toilet. We have tried no drinks after 6pm and always make him go to the loo before going to bed but was thinking should we try getting him up to go to the toilet when we go to bed a few hours later? Not sure how that would go down ...

IVF at Edinburgh ACU Little France

Hi Well it has been 3 months since my 5th ivf failed and we have now went to the doctor and been referred to a new clinic (edinburgh acu). All our treatments so far have been at Dundee and they have been great but we just wanted a fresh pair of eyes to look at our history and see if they could offer us anything different. We asked for the referral 2 weeks ago and I was just wondering if anyone knows the timescale on 1st appointments? Many thanks

Why do I never get past day 10 before bleeding?

Bit if a emotional day today - just found out my 5th ivf has failed. My question is I always start spotting on day 8 then on day 10 post transfer I get my period. I am wondering if I have a progestorone problem as in my body is not absorbing enough from the pessary? Should the pessaries not hold off af? I know I am looking for answers I probably cant get but it just seems strange I never get anywhere near test date. My clinic basically say if I was pregnant I would make my own progesterone so th...

What has infertility done to you?

I just need to know its not just me. This 7 year journey of infertility has changed me into someone I dont know. I have been feeling so low lately and just cant seem to pull myself out of this hole. I cant face going out and feel like I hide behind my miracle child all the time. I cant go to a night out as I dont have a babysitter (dont want one is the truth). I have said that for so long that I notice now I just dont get invited anywhere. I cant tell you the last time I went out with anyone oth...

Explaining death to a 3 year old

My FIL passed away shortly before ds was born. It has been important to us for him to know he has another grandpa and dh has taken him to the cemetry a few times to put flowers down and we tell him that is where we go to "visit" grandpa and take him flowers. Up to now he has enjoyed arranging the flowers and has never asked questions. The last few weeks however he has started asking a lot of questions about him and asked why when we go to visit grandpa at the special place he is nowhere to be fo...
