Herts and Essex Fertility Centre, Cheshunt

Hi Caz Thanks for the info. We have now been for a consultation and compared to Hammersmith I was blown away at how knowlegable they were. We are going to do our 2nd attempt with H&E and keep our that everything works out weel. they have inspired confidence in us and all we can do is give it our best shot. And yes the trek to Hammersmith was .... HORRID so that was why I wanted something a little bit closer

Does anyone have anymore info about this centre? We are thinking of having a 2nd try and have to go private this time. Herts & Essex is much closer than Hammersmith and I got a tour at the open evening. They seem nice but any info would be helpful. Thanks

THIRD TRIMESTER CHAT ARCHIVE 1/10/09 - 1/12/09

Oooh also forgot to say I read somewhere that only 5% of babies arrive on the day, 75% are late and 20% are early. After reading the forums I think most seem to be late!

Sarah - so glad to hear that you have a monster! I want to tell you that all along DH and I have felt the same way you and your DH feel. What else is going to go wrong and when was something we constantly asked ourselves? It is almost too good to be true right? It is hard to stay positive and motivated, but for me, when I hit the 2nd Trimester I did start to relax - a little bit Nicola - 13th Aug sounds perfect. I am up for that. Claudia - My IVF worked first time from only one egg at EC. Astro ...

Zoe - So sorry to hear about your BFN - thinking of you Chelc - welcome to this fabulous tread! Here are ny answers to your questions. 1. How long did the process take from Local Hosp tellingy...

Finding out the gender at 20 wks

Minerva Unfortunately there are so many people out there that don't even think about their comments! This happened to my MIL - sha had 4 boys and from baby 2 onwards was always asked if she was disappointed or still trying for a girl. She had 4 because she wanted 4 children! You just have to remember that you are going to have 2 babies - how wonderful is that!! and I agree with Jensqui - come and join us on the 2nd Tri forum to get back some of that excitement!

Hi All Sarah - your post about backing away from the pc made me laugh! Mia - Great news about the 2 - you must be so pleased! Originally I just wanted a baby, but then thought a girl would be nice (pretty dresses and all) but I am very happy with a boy The scan was incomplete because he was being a pain and tucking his head into a corner - so they could not measure the head or see his face. Even a walk and fizzy drink didn't help so I have to go back in 2 weeks. The rest of the scan was fine - s...
