hi shelbie sorry you are feeling so low, im afraid i don't know to much about the waiting times, with regards nhs funding i do hope you don't have to wait so long, and as for your age i wouldn't worry to much i was 36 when having my tx please stick with it i know its really really difficult but giving up on your dream to be a mum after trying for so very long would not be the right choice after you have come so far, stick with it you are inching up that waiting list, heres hoping that things go ...

First Scan

its quite normal to worry about scans i had about 8 in total (very good consultant) and worried constantly before every one, you have been on such a journey ttc its only natural to worry. As for symptoms i had none during pregnancy only tiredness and now feeling very uncomfortable. I wish you all the best at your scan i'm sure everything will be fine and you will come away with the most amazing experience in the world seeing your babies heartbeating on the screen for the 1st time xxx

When did everyone go on maternity leave?

I was intending to finish 4 weeks before my due day, however baby had other ideas for me i was rushed from work in an ambulance with pain and bleeding, fortunately all was well, but it was the scare I needed to slow down and rest this was when i was 28wks so took a week annual leave and then maternity leave on the 29th week. Looking back don't know how on earth I would have managed to carry on until i was 36wks its so tiring!!! I would just go with how you feel and don't feel that you have to st...

** SCANS - QUESTIONS AND CHAT **

I had a scan at 6 wks they are the internal ones it looked like a little prawn on the screen I did see a tiny heartbeat which was fantastic so hopefully you should can't see 2 days making that much difference, they are very very tiny and look nothing at all like a baby but it is the most amazing feeling ever looking at your baby on the screen even if they do slightly resemble seafood!!!! LOL very best of luck to you xxx
